About Me
Hey everyone! I’m Ice Girl; I write the Ice Girl blog for figure skating. My blog is simply a guide for figure skaters who have unanswered questions or just want some random enetertainment from a 14-year-old fiugre skater.
I joined my mom’s blog, Ice Mom’s blog, today, April 3, 2010, to help out my mom with questions she had a hard time answering because she doesn’t skate. Also I want to share my experiences and my “fail” moments that I’ve witnessed or have done myself while at my favorite place in the world, the rink! I do this so that we all don’t repeat my many mistakes.
I am Ice Mom’s daughter, the student of Ice Coach, the bait for the fishing pole harness, the turkey (no idea what the meaning is behind this name, just a name Ice Coach calls me sometimes), and the Hey, Kid! Go get me a soda to Ice Dad. Ive been skating for 2 years now and so far the highest level jump I can acctually land on one foot off the harness is a normal Axel… working on that double Salchow, but I gotta get my left foot out of the way.
When I’m not at the rink, I’m stuck at the place no 13-14 year old kid ever really wants to be at… that’s right… middle school. I’m probably riding around on my new bike trying to find somebody to hang out with… but most likely at home on facebook, too. (Shh.)
